2018 Reflections

Looking back, this was a year of GREAT challenge and growth.

I was in contest prep for nearly the entire year and it tested me on such a profound level. I found out just how hard I would have to push to make my goals a reality

The indescribable feeling of winning my IPE pro card and placing second in my NGA pro debut in back to back weeks. Even now, it still feels surreal

Adopting Kai, my first pet. A rascal at times, but now my lifelong companion. Every day he reinforces the lessons of patience and responsibility, which have been crucial for my progression

Earning new certifications and switching teams in my work life. Challenging myself outside of the gym, where I have a life to live.

These are just a few examples of just how BIG this year really was

I’m proud of all my accomplishments and I’m even glad for the defeats

From the highs to my lows, I want to say thank you to all my friends, family, and close ones. You ALL played a part in my success and this year wouldn’t have been the same without you.

In closing, this year has shown me the importance of one’s support system, to reciprocate love and kindness, and to ALWAYS tick your boxes ✅

Cheers to 2019.
